This policy explains what personal data WAYF Audio ("WAYF", "we", "us") collects on wayfaudio.com (the "Site"), how it is used, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and we do not sell personal data.
1. What we collect
- Mailing list & release notifications: your email address and country, when you submit a signup form.
- Account data: your email address and password (stored by Firebase Authentication — we never see your password), if you create an account.
- Purchase data: your name, email address, country and order details when you buy a Product. Card and payment details are handled entirely by our payment providers (e.g. Paddle or Ziina) and never touch our servers.
- Support email: whatever you choose to send to support@wayfaudio.com.
2. How we use it
- To deliver purchases: download links, license keys, receipts.
- To send release and product updates you signed up for.
- To answer support requests.
- To meet legal, tax and anti-fraud obligations related to sales.
3. Third-party services
The Site runs on Google Firebase (hosting, authentication and database — Google Privacy Policy). Payments are processed by payment providers acting as independent controllers or merchants of record, such as Paddle (Paddle Privacy Policy) or Ziina. Fonts are served by Google Fonts. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on the Site.
4. Data retention
Mailing-list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
5. Your rights
You may request a copy of your personal data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing support@wayfaudio.com. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
6. Security
Data is stored in Google Firebase with access restricted to WAYF. Download links use unique, non-guessable access tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
7. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always available on this page.
